The Trogg Clan: Illustrated
The opening of The Virgin Dragon features the character Dorian and his family. The Kelligen Isles are home to an assortment of small clans that live and trade with one another. Dorian is part of the Trogg family, and the family meets and celebrates the various holidays of the Fellanorian culture each year.
Here are some members of Dorian’s family.
The husband of Riley, he is a master brewer and spends his time seeking the perfect beer. He is a friendly jokester who brings his humor everywhere he goes.
Riley is the oldest of Dorian’s aunts, and she feels a lot of responsibility to take care of the family. Most of her time is spent with her nieces and nephews, ensuring they have clothing that fits and they are educated enough to go out into the world.
Murry owns and runs a large farm. Much of his time is spent dealing with exhausted farmhands. He is accompanied by his dog Patrick, who will eat anything you set in front of him.
Morgan, the wife of Murry, is a generous host who uses their barnhouse for holidays. She worries a lot about fitting in with the family and bakes far too much food than people can eat, so Patrick winds up with the leftovers.
Aunt Megan is named after her mother and everyone sees her as the favorite child. She has a strong desire to be loved and looks up to Riley a lot. Her husband is a fisherman who is often away on travels. She relies on her family for company.
Kerry, the youngest of the siblings, is known as a bit of a womanizer and has remained unmarried. He does his best to stay fit and attractive and frequents the sparse nightlife of the Fellanorian villages.
Grandma Megan is the matriarch of the clan. She enjoys a good drink and playing with her grandchildren, though she has trouble walking. She looks forward to the day when there are great-grandchildren to play with.
