The Sparrowhawk Guild: Illustrated
As you read through The Isolated Vizier, you’ll read about the Sparowhawk Guild. This adventuring guild, based in southeastern Arnoria, has been home to scores of adventurers throughout the history of the kingdom.
Once trained, groups of guild members will take contracts received by patrons across the continent. As more quests are completed, the guild members are promoted to higher status.
A select few people join the guild over the course of the series, who become main characters. Some of these characters are detailed below.
Val
Val is a young but spirited man who is a natural leader. He is quick with a sword but hesitant to go into a fight he might lose. His strong sense of justice leads him to struggle many times as they are sent on adventures.
Aedril
Aedril comes from the northeastern coastal towns of Arnoria, where he learned how to use a bow effectively. He has some elven blood, though his parents have never told him much about his lineage. He is an inquisitive person by nature and has a stoic personality.
Titus
Titus is a changeling, a person who can transform into animals. He prefers to take the form of a grizzly, which he does before rushing into battle. His upbringing came at the cost of social skills, and he tends to be short with others when he gets annoyed (which happens quickly).
Ozlar
Ozlar does not talk much about his past. He has a sister, but that’s all anyone knows. His expertise is in lockpicking and thievery. Though part of the group, he disagrees with others often and has a biting sarcasm that people dislike.
Ezeal
Ezeal does not join the Sparrowhawks right away, but follows them on their adventures. He lives by himself in the Goldwood. He cares much about the environment and has a particular affinity towards animals. His elven magic allows him to move swiftly into and out of danger.
Idhrenion
Idhrenion appears at the guild hall late one night with amnesia. It is clear he is a Forodren, the race of elves who live in the northern Lands of Always Winter. His mastery of spells is what convinces the Sparrowhawks to accept him, though he still wonders about his past.
What happens to the Sparrowhawks? How do their adventures intersect with the characters we’ve met before? The Isolated Vizier is now available to buy.
