The Feckless King - Now Available
After finishing editing last week, I am happy to announce the fifth sequential book in the series, The Feckless King, is now published!
As fate puts Herion in a position of power, will he be able to wield it with justice and strength?
In this dark epic fantasy novel, Herion, the nephew of the King of the Forodrens, a band of surviving elves, finds himself in a position of power as fate takes its course. Despite his loyalty to his family, Herion yearns for more and travels to a human city. But the reality of human prejudice and oppression towards elves hits him hard.
As he becomes involved with a small band of elvish revolutionaries who seek to reclaim their ancestral lands from human conquest, Herion must also navigate his duty to his family and kingdom. He finds himself torn between leading the rebellion and fulfilling his duty as a leader of his people.
Meanwhile, the Sparrowhawk Guild finds itself embroiled in political power struggles as rival factions of Arnorian aristocrats and Kelligan tribes seek new leadership. Can they compromise and elect leaders who can help them in the upcoming battle against the Dark Lord Hadron?
The fifth book in the series raises the stakes and sets up the story for its ultimate conclusion, a story of power, family, and self-discovery. Perfect for fans of J.R.R Tolkien, George R.R Martin and Patrick Rothfuss.
It was a lot of work to revise, as this book weaves through many different plotlines and characters that step through this penultimate book. At 700 pages and 180,000 words, it will immerse you deep into the Lands of Always Winter.
