The snow had finally thawed, and Dorian could go outside without being bundled in several layers. He lay in the grass outside his home while he waited for the rest of his family to get ready for the fair. He felt a sense of nostalgia, and wondered if his whole life could be this simple and blissful.
The fair was an exciting place. It took place not too far away from the village, in a large clearing. The clearing was never used for anything except this annual event. There were a variety of farmers and vendors who wanted to sell a variety of jams, ciders, honeys, jewelry, and other things that they crafted.
Dorian has come to the Spring Festival with his family, a celebration at the start of the season in the island nation of Fellanor. Yet despite his original bliss, tension starts to brew as the day goes on. What kind of drama unfolds? You’ll have to find out in “The Virgin Dragon”.
