The ceremony was held in the garden, which was similarly littered with bright flowers. There was a priest of the church standing in a gazebo, accompanied by a young man who looked much like the Don.
The Don walked down the aisle and stood at the front aside from his son. Hadron was ushered to a seat at the very back. Local, unfamiliar tunes played as the ceremony commenced.
A young woman walked down the aisle in a puffy white dress. She wore a veil over her face, but her frizzy dark hair was plainly visible through it. As she reached the gazebo, the young man took the veil into his hands and lifted it over her head, revealing her face.
"Good afternoon gentlemen and ladies," announced the priest. "Today we are gathered here to bear witness to the love between Cherubino, son of Vino, and Blavatsky, daughter of…"
"You needn't worry about that," she asserted.
"Very well, we shall proceed then.”
Hadron finds himself as a wedding guest by invitation of Don Vino. Who is Blavatsky, and how has she won the heart of the Don’s son? These answers will be revealed in The Chaotic Stoic.
This book will be available on December 1st. Until then, you can catch up on the entire series on Amazon.
