Hadron couldn't take his eyes off the magnificent landscape in front of him. His gaze only shifted briefly, to a flat slab of slate in his right hand. With his left, he used a long and thin piece of chalk to record this scene.
Like most mornings, the fog had crept through the Çataliüs Mountains, across the bay. As the sun rose, its orange light scattered throughout the range. Everything became bathed in faint warm colors that reminded him of water colors in a painting. Instead it was real, a painting made by nature just for him.
The Chaotic Stoic is the final book for The Spectre of War series. In this scene, a young Hadron stares out at the foggy mountains. He is fascinated by the majesty of the tall rock formations. He wonders what may lay on the other side. When he finally discovers that answer… it begins a long adventure.
This book will be available on December 1st. Until then, you can catch up on the entire series on Amazon.
