He was downstairs in a large hall where the entertainment was playing. Ottian was trying to keep the crowd energized, but the day’s events had turned the mood somber.

Kiera was walking down the hall slowly. Her mind was clouded, deep in thought about the death of Lord Piper. While she didn’t like him, she wondered if there was a way to salvage the peace.
