She reached out with her hand and thrust it into his chest. While he expected that she would cast another one of her lightning spells, that’s not what happened. He felt himself being lifted into the air and pushed backwards towards the tree. He reached for her cloak, but ripped it as he was flung.

Out of the corner of his eye he could see something forming in front of the tree. It was a large blue circle, and yellow swirls danced around it.

Unable to stop, he felt himself colliding with the circle. He immediately felt the heat of the fire vanish.

He landed in something soft and cold. He opened his eyes. From the moonlight, he could tell that he was in snow. He could see the glowing light of the blue circle growing faint and disappearing.

The woman had tricked him, and teleported him far away.
