The headmaster spoke to it. “Bogruzoth, we ask you to analyze this new student. Tell us which class would be best suited for him.”
The creature turned around and saw Iago standing next to the cage. It rushed up to the other side of the cage, hitting the bars and causing the cage to shift slightly closer. It stared at Iago for a few seconds, but what seemed to Iago like minutes.
He could smell the breath coming from it. It seemed to be a smell that was familiar, but also repugnant, like rotting flesh, or dried blood.
Suddenly Iago felt something hit him. It wasn’t physical. Instead, he felt something enter him. As he thought anxiously to himself what this thing was, he could sense another presence in this head, an audience to his thoughts.
