“Caraxes, what is your take on these matters?” Julius asked with a humorous tone.

“Will you stop that?” Rhaegon chastised his friend. “He’s still a horse.”

“A cute one. He has a gentlemanly voice,” Lily complimented.

“I appreciate your kind words madam,” Caraxes noted kindly. “Though I must defer to the prince on matters of diplomacy.”

“Rhaegon, are you sure you really wanted to take Caraxes with you?” Lady Kiera asked apprehensively.

“He’s my horse. I paid for him and I’m going to ride him,” Rhaegon responded adamantly.

Like many heroes who must traverse long distances, the adventurer Rhaegon has a talented steed. However, Caraxes is no ordinary horse. His talents quickly turn towards intelligence rather than his speed or stamina.
