1-Line Wednesday | February 19

The client lunged at one of the bandits, moving with lightning speed. His fangs dug into the man’s neck. Blood began spurting out right away.

The client bent down, getting closer to the reddening flesh. His tongue extended from his mouth, collecting small drips.

“What is this?!” the leader cried out as his hand reached down for his blade.

The other riders leapt off their horses. They glided through the air for a moment before landing on the other bandits and proceeding to grapple them and drain their blood. The bandits flailed but even their daggers seemed ineffective.

“We need to get out of here!” Titus exclaimed, rushing away.

Vampires? Titus has found himself observing a business deal, but it’s suddenly gone awry. The buyers are being attacked, but what exactly went wrong?
