Anette was surprised when she saw Martins in the distance. She handed her scope over to Peet, hoping that he could provide her with some confirmation.

"It's Martins. He's returned."

"No way, it can't be. Nobody who has disappeared under the moonlight has ever returned."

Peet grabbed the scope. He peered through it and immediately dropped it. Clearly he was just as shocked as she was.

"You're right. It's a miracle!"

Anette, Peet, and Martins are three people who live in a small cottage community along the northern coast. There were once more, but several of their friends have disappeared in recent weeks.
