“Caraxes,” Titus murmured under his breath as the shape of a horse came into focus.
“Sorry. I don’t like doing this, but I was ordered,” a bandit apologized.
“Don’t claim you’re following orders. You have your own agency.”
“Hey, I’m not some kind of intelligent horse. Not all of us have the luxury of independence.”
“Me, independent? You know how dangerous the roads can be. That’s why I was traveling all that way to Jin Yu with the caravan.”
“Not much protection though, was it?”
Titus stumbles upon his old friend Caraxes, who was sitting by the fire quietly. However, bandits have just appeared to arrest him. What kind of troubles has he gotten into? Can Titus help rescue his friend?
