Mordred walked into the town and a strange phenomenon washed over him. His connection to magic wavered. It wasn’t a strong sensation, but he could definitely feel that something was different.

A link to the immaterial planes was not necessary to know something was strange. The townspeople didn’t act normally. Some were aloof, bumbling slowly around the streets. Others seemed to yell angrily at him even without looking at them.

Yet this was the spot Lucian had taken to calling home. The archer had disappeared for several months at this point without any trace.

Lucian was last spotted a while ago in a small village called Plumb Rock, amidst The Goldenwood. It’s a strange village, from the villagers to the ambiance. Why has Lucian made this place his home? And what does Mordred need from him?
