1-Line Wednesday | August 16

Raios walked over to that side of the ship and saw the island with its massive coastline. He could see the storm's eye circling around the land. A drip of water hit the top of his head. The downpour was just beginning. As he rushed for cover he could hear the sound of a powerful roar. He looked up to see a red dragon.

He was in awe for a brief moment before the dragon exhaled a burst of fire at the ship. The sails ignited immediately and the beam began to char. Raios grabbed hold of the wall in order not to lose his balance. The ship began rocking back and forth as gusts of wind began to blow past them.

This short passage features the character Raios as he encounters a massive dragon. Throughout much of the world, dragons have been hunted to near-extinction. What happens next when they meet this magnificent creature?
